1 Hotel South Beach

The 1 Hotel South Beach is easily one of the top properties on Miami Beach, and overall we had a good stay. I did want to share a few notes that might help future guests and the hotel team as well. We booked three rooms for the week and spent roughly $20,000, so we came in expecting a strong level of concierge support and priority typically associated with that price point. Early on, we had difficulty getting reservations for some of the rooftop venues. When trying to book a table for six at the rooftop lounge, we were told we’d need to wait like everyone else. It wasn’t until we reached out to management that we were finally accommodated. One thing to note is that the hotel feels very open to the public—there are often large crowds in the lobby, long elevator lines, and limited availability at on-site restaurants and lounges. In my experience with other five-star properties, in-house guests are usually given a bit more priority or guidance with reservations, and that wasn’t always the case here. Because of that, the service felt closer to a four-star experience at times. That said, I want to give a big shoutout to Jesus and Steve at the pool. Their service and attitude were a highlight of the trip and truly elevated our stay. My suggestion to the hotel would be to continue improving guest prioritization and concierge communication, especially for in-house guests spending significant time and money on property. With a few adjustments, this hotel could easily match the five-star experience its setting and design promise.

From the moment you walk in, the design stands out — natural wood, plants everywhere, open spaces, and a calm atmosphere that instantly makes you feel like you’re on vacation. The rooftop pool is incredible and easily one of the best views in Miami. Looking out over the ocean and the skyline while relaxing by the pool is something you won’t forget. The beach access is also perfect — just a few steps from the hotel and you’re on the sand with one of the best stretches of Miami Beach right in front of you. What really makes this place special is the attention to detail. Everything feels high-end but relaxed at the same time, which creates an atmosphere that’s perfect whether you’re visiting for a weekend getaway or a longer stay. Pro tip: Go up to the rooftop pool around sunset — the view of the ocean and Miami skyline is absolutely incredible. The upper penthouse suites here are phenomenal! The views are spectacular. Definitely hit the rooftop pool and bar/restaurant for some tasty eats and boozy drinks! The atmosphere is above expectations with impeccable service You can't go wrong staying here.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Five Stars! 1 Hotel Miami absolutely exceeded every expectation. The espresso martinis were incredible, the views were spectacular, and the service was top‑tier from start to finish. We had the pleasure of meeting the Food & Beverage Manager, Trey Swan, who was not only welcoming and personable but also offered us a tour to show us around. His leadership really shows—his entire team was fantastic. The hotel itself is stunning, and the rooftop bar felt almost unreal with its atmosphere and scenery. Truly an unforgettable experience. I already can’t wait to go back!

I had an incredible stay at the One Hotel! The room service was truly exceptional they made sure we had everything we needed from top to bottom. A huge shoutout to Andres, Lovensky, and Matt—they were all so helpful, kind, and went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. Their friendliness and professionalism really stood out. I can’t recommend One Hotel enough for anyone looking for an amazing experience!

Truly my favorite little escape on miami beach. But really what makes this place exceptional are the incredible staff that work here. After coming here for the last 5 years, I can say confidently that this hotel wouldn’t be what it is without the incredible people and exceptional customer service. I’ve never seen anything like it. Ferlie at the coffee shop Neighbors manages everything so well, Imer & Afonso at the front door, Samantha at the 3rd floor family pool who is an absolute ray of sunshine, Adam, Jordan, and Giuliana on the roof pool truly just make my day with each interaction. Everyone is so helpful and so kind. Genuinely good people who keep bringing me back here. I’ve stayed at every luxury hotel on south beach and always end up back at the 1. Simply the best place to be. Now my only criticism would be the wifi at all of the pools does not work. First world problem but hoping they address this at some point because it’s been years. Hotel also needs more trash cans conveniently tucked throughout.
